What this policy covers

Premiere Closet is a personal styling service. You may browse our public pages — the home page, Style Notes articles, and this policy — without an account. You create an account to use the styling features: building outfits from a catalog and, when you choose, uploading garment photos to build a digital wardrobe.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we ask for a display name, an email address, and a password. The email address is your login identifier and the way we confirm your account. Accounts are created through Supabase Auth, the service provider that runs our authentication.

Your wardrobe. When you choose to add a garment to your closet, we store the photo you upload and the clothing details we derive from it. Photos are kept in a private, password-protected storage area that belongs to your account and is accessible only to you through your session.

Styling information. To compose looks we ask for styling preferences: formality level, occasion, sizes, colors, fit, location or weather (city or region only — never a street address), and a budget range. When you save a look or a preference, it is stored in your account. Saved items, garment classifications, and generated looks are tied to your account and shown only to you.

Public pages. Our public pages — the home page, Style Notes, and this policy — contain no forms and collect nothing. Browsing them does not require an account and does not submit any personal information to us.

How we use this information

We use it for one purpose: providing the styling service. That means identifying you when you sign in, keeping your wardrobe and saved looks available to you, and using your stated preferences to compose outfit recommendations. We do not sell your information. We do not share your wardrobe or styling information except with the services that operate the app (hosting, storage, and authentication providers), and only to the extent needed to run it.

Authentication, sessions, and security

When you sign in, the authentication provider stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. Each request to our servers is verified against that token server-side before any of your data is touched. Your wardrobe, saved looks, and preferences are protected by database rules that allow each account to reach only its own records — no account can read another account's data. Uploaded photos are stored in a private bucket whose access rules restrict reads and writes to the owning account.

Analytics

None. We do not use analytics libraries, third-party analytics services, or behavioral tracking scripts anywhere on the site. We do not track you across the web.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use marketing cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. The only browser storage the app uses is the authentication session token described above, which exists solely to keep you signed in. We do not place or read cookies on other sites.

Outbound links (future)

When the service offers shopping links, clicking one will take you to the retailer's own website — for example, amazon.com — in a new tab. Once you leave our site, that retailer's own privacy and cookie practices apply to you. Premiere Closet does not set or read cookies on the retailer's site, and this policy does not govern what the retailer does with your information after you arrive there. No such links exist today while this draft is under review.

Your choices

You can sign out of the app at any time, which ends your session on that device. You can sign in again later. You can delete garments from your closet yourself within the app.

Open item for review: a full account-deletion and data-erasure feature is not yet implemented, and we have not yet defined retention periods for account data. These are open questions for our owner and legal review before this policy is finalized — we will describe them here when they are decided.

Changes to this policy

This document is a draft under owner and legal review. Before it takes effect, the final version will be reviewed for accuracy against how the app actually behaves, approved by the owner, and published here with a version number and date. If the service changes materially — for example, when shopping links or new features launch — this policy will be updated to match before those changes reach you.
